Capistrano Pageant

We were very gratified to be chosen to provide Lighting and Production services for this exciting Southern California Pageant. Although short lived, the Pageant was a wonderful show set in and amongst the amazing Mission San Juan Capistrano.

	Building the Truss Amazing that a 50 x 40 rig can fit on such a small truck...
Setting it up...	Bright and early, the Cal Stage crew dives into the setup of the self-climbing rig.
	Up it goes... While set pieces stage out front.
Scenery and lighting load in over several days; the setup is somewhat akin to setting up a tent circus in a forest. But by the end of the week, all is in, and rehearsals begin.
The beautiful Mission grounds are the perfect setting for these reawakened moments of history.
	The house is full, the actors up, and all seems to be a great success. Cal Stage was very proud to be able to work with this terrific production for it's 8 performance run - twice as long as it's first year.
	But nothing lasts forever. As always, abruptly, it is all over... the gear is packed, the stage and set struck, and the site returns to it's normal quiet, peaceful state.
